Product Description
An essential aid for people with limited hand use, for activities including turning pages, drawing or painting. It helps people with limited verbal communication skills to use communication boards and to point. It is also excellent for pushing in switches. Consists of lightweight plastic bands secured by metal hardware and topped by a 19" long aluminum rod. Padding at the forehead is comfortable and cool. The headband and cranial strap adjust to fit various head sizes and shapes. The pointer rod is fully adjustable for length and angle in any direction. Heading in the right direction
The forehead padding is conformtable. I was unsure about how the headpointer would feel on my head because the picture looked awkward, but once I tried it on, it felt nice. It really helps for reading and turning the pages by myself because my arms have been paralyzed from my birth. The bad thing is, sometimes I might forget I'm wearing it and turn my head into a wall while a pencil is in the holder and I would mark all over by accident. Using it all the time has really built up my neck muscles, but I have to rest my head after using it for too long during one day. I don't suggest using it in the car. I got carsick while trying to read. I think there should be more color selections. The big white headband draws too much attnetion. Other than that, it has really help improve my life.
