Keeps baby entertained... for awhile at least!
Customer Video Review Length:: 1:34 MinsWe have a new baby boy in the house who's 4 months old now. He loves to be held upright so he can practice standing on his chubby little legs. This Jumperoo gives him a chance to practice this some more, as well as bat his hands at different toy attachments. Sometimes he gets very excited about being in there and is happy for almost 30 minutes, other times he gets cranky much earlier. So overall, it makes for a nice addition to things to do with the infant during the day, providing him and parents some helpful and fun variety in activities.

Better than the precious planet jumperoo
I love the two audible modes. One teaches words and the other plays music. The book opens and the word is said. Very cute. Of course, any jumperoo is fantastic, but I liked this one better than the precious planet because it offered more activities and seemed more educational. I didn't like the palm leaves hanging down on the precious planet. It would seem annoying to have that hanging over her head. Not too mention the banana and the bird would be out of reach and would frustrate my 4 month old. So, this barnyard jumperoo has lots for her to do and would recommend this one over the rainforest or precious planet ones.

Our baby asked us why we waited so long!!
We were originally going to get our 8 month old a jumper that you hang from the door. After reading some reviews about injuries and mishaps from jumping into the door frames, we firmly decided against that and researched floor models.We were between this Jumperoo and another one that has 4 support poles as the base. The square Jumperoo didn't have nearly as many toys for her to discover and it seemed to take up much more space. We decided on this Jumperoo because it took up less room and had more toys for only slightly more money. The investment was worth it for just the first 10 minutes of fun!When we first put her in, she wasn't quite sure what to make of it and just looked around at the toys grabbing for them. After she realized (in the first 2 minutes) that she could jump, she did with great joy. Better & more attractive than the Deluxe Jumperoo...
We have an active baby that really likes to stand, tries to walk when held, and always wants to be on the move -- it can be exhausting. Jumpy, Jumpy! Entertaining for baby and you!
Our son could hold himself up in the sitting position by the time he was three months old. When we first put him in, he was most interested in the ball that spins and we needed to put a lift under him so that his feed could push up against something. (I've seen people use their wii fit board for this!) Once he figured out how to jump, it was all over. He essentially went nuts, just jumping and jumping to his heart's content.By the time he was four months old, his feet could touch the floor and, if we cheered him on, he could get really high! He didn't start really playing with the other things and spinning around in the chair - if you didn't notice, the chair spins around - until he was about five months old.Unfortunately, once he figured out how to pull himself up to stand (five months) and then crawl (7 months), he really wasn't interested in being in it. Really wanted to like this but...
Customer Video Review Length:: 2:17 MinsI'm afraid this was a rather disappointing purchase. Seeing all the great reviews, I thought this would be a sure hit but after a month of trying this out, I created this video to note some of the flaws.Please note that the seat has already been corrected. After filming this video, I realized I had the seat backwards. Despite the adjustment, my baby was still not able to comfortably play with all the toys so after a couple of months, we sold this jumperoo for half the price.

A comparison of 2 Jumperoo's
I have owned both this Fisher Price Blue Sky Jumperoo, and the Baby Einstein Musical Motion Jumper Green. Having used both, this Fisher Price one is my favorite and here's why:It's MUCH easier to bounce. The Einstein one is rather stiff and was harder for my girl to bounce. She LOVES to bounce, but in the Einstein, it was rather rigid. It bounces up and down with no move from side to side at all, while the Fisher Price has a little bit of movement from side to side as well as up and down. Plus the Fisher Price is just a lot more springy.Also, the toys on the Fisher Price are more interesting to my baby. She wasn't interested in anything at all on the Einstein, with the exception of the piano. However, she was unable to activate the piano on her own as the keys were hard to press and made confusing by the addition of purple raised bumps. I really love this seat!
This really has been a wonderful addition to our home and our baby always loved this. He would sit and watch the little fishies spin and listen to the music or the bubbling sound effects. He never seemed to be bored! I would feed him in this and after his meal, attach the toy bar and have at least 15 minutes to straighten up and clean up. It worked great for me to catch 10 minutes here and there. Sometimes he would even fall asleep when I would use the vibrating feature.Luca used this from about 2 months until about 9 months and I changed the batteries 3 times.I liked having the ability to change the sounds from music to water effects. This bouncer enables you to put it in interactive mode where your infant's movements will cause the toy bar to react with lights and sounds. A must have item
Bouncer seats are perhaps one of the greatest baby inventions! This seat is very aesthetically pleasing and relaxing. The lullabies are quite soothing and the vibration seems to have a calming effect on my daughter. I agree that the aquarium bar makes it hard to be face to face with your baby, but odds are good that if your baby's in this seat, you're trying to get something done in your home! And the point is to have her look at the calming sea creatures and bubbles, not you! We had stopped using this when my daughter began sitting up alone around 5mos. However, now that she is 11mos., we pulled it out of the closet in the midst of cleaning and she has rediscovered it, and enjoys it in a whole new way. Water in tank evaporates over time; how to refill
My oldest son (5) loved this bouncer, so did the kid we passed it down to, and so does my youngest son.It's already been amply reviewed but I thought people might be interested in how it ages:- active toddlers WILL be fascinated with sitting on the chair part, and torture it until it's no longer safe for infants, so put this toy away promptly when the kids are too big to sit in it (we had to replace the seat after my friend's son broke it)- the water in the tank evaporates over the years so the bubbles no longer do a good job spinning the starfish, etc.We refilled the tank ourselves with the following equipment:phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, heat gun, glue gun (or epoxy), big sterile syringe, sterile water1. remove toy bar so it's no longer getting power2. unscrew screws in the white part of the toy bar and open it up. Great Jumper
This is a fun way for a little baby to strengthen their legs and this jumper had lots of activites without being cluttered. It has enough toys to capture their attention and is great for height adjustment. We have a 5 month old who is 27" and he can just touch the floor and bounce. Jumping fun!
A jumperoo is an essential part of what I consider "baby gear". It occupies the baby's time and allows them some independence in playing when they cannot move as much. We picked this model just bc of the fish design. The quality is great, it held up just fine! I recommend these to all of my mom-to-be friends. If your budget is limited, this might be better than a swing! We only used a swing for the first 3 months. The jumperoo has been in use for the last 8 months. Now he has grown out of it. The seat is washable and easy to get on and off. We only had to wash the seat once though! The music isn't annoying, I think when you become a parent it is easier to tune out such noises anyways.
