Great value...simple, well built and silky smooth
This is typical of the products I've been seeing come out of Genus Tech...deceptively simple, straightforward, well thought out design with a high degree of attention to detail and care in manufacturing and very good value for the money...Built for the HDSLR's it's smaller and lighter weight than some of the others I tried yet still has a rock solid feel and a nice big beefy knob that gives a smooth, longer throw with no noticeable lash. The combination of a beveled marking disc and the adjustable indexing marker makes seeing the marks a lot easier when you're pulling your own focus...I'm especially liking this with their flexible lens gears...low profile, hug the lens (no wagon wheel look ;-), easy to attach and couple perfectly with the Bravo drive gear. I ended up getting one for each of my 3 primary lenses.In the mid- price range of follow focus units available for HDSLRs this one stands out as a reasonably priced, quality made product that...

The Genus G-BFOC Bravo Follow Focus System, built for DSLR cameras, comes with a 0.8mm pitch gear and smooth rotation to give you perfect focus to your shots. The thread through bar bracket is designed for perfect stability. Easy to align, the sliding bracket allows quick adjustment. The pitch gear assembly can be reversed for use with different lenses. A large beveled marking disc can be used again and again and allows precision focusing (use pencil or non-permanent marker).
