Great Video for Parents
This video primarily speaks to parents about teaching golf to their children. There is a nice section on equipment selection and several chapters on the fundamentals of golf and details several methods of how best to teach these fundamentals to children. Unlike other golf videos for children, this one is not geared specifically at the beginning child golfer. Rather the video is aimed at the parents and instructors who are teaching young golfers about the game of golf. As a result, with the exception of the intro, you won't see Pam interacting with many children. With this is mind, I believe that this is one of (if not "the") best videos available for teaching your child to golf. Enjoy! Top to learn more

Great pitching tool, batting practice toy
If you have a budding baseball player in your house, grab this toy. It is by far one of the best toys we have in this house. Our little one just LOVES playing with this thing - he even changes the batting levels all on his own. It shoots those balls out pretty fast and our four-year-old can whack them almost every time. He doesn't use the T-ball portion very much though - but that's just him. He likes the fast balls that come out for him to hit. He can whack those balls pretty far too - across 1/2 an acre and into the street! I highly recommend this toy - it also helps train your little guy to get used to the automatic pitching machines they use in Little League games now. My only complaint is that I wish we could get more balls. It's tons of exercise for mom and dad to run across the yard and to put them back into the machine. The batteries last a long time too - we use Duracells and haven't replaced them since April (four months).Wait for a sale before buying... Top to learn more

Fun for girls too!
My little girl got a big kick out of this toy but I think my husband was more excited about it. It teaches great hand and eye coordination and comes with three balls and a bat. It takes batteries and to my surpirse the batteries lasted a long time. It was only $20 which is awesome and has three levels to bat. We started out on the first level where you just rest the ball on the top. We then went to the pitching level which is difficult for our almost 3 year old but perfect for my husband. Him and his friends sit out back and play with it and its really been fun for us all. Cant beat the price! Top to learn more

Learn to hit like a pro. There are three ways to play with Triple Hit Baseball, so anyone can learn. Beginners can hit from the tee to teach hand-eye coordination. In Rookie mode, balls pop up automatically, one after another. In pro mode, balls will be pitched automatically from up to 10' away. Includes battery-powered trainer, bat and three balls. Adult assembly required. Requires 4 "D" batteries (not included). Top to learn more
A reasonable gripe against a great number of sporting good themed toys has been their lack of versatility. Once a kid has surpassed the skill level engendered by the toy, the toy is pretty much useless, offering no further challenge to the burgeoning athlete. The Grow To Pro series, on the other hand, evolves with the kid presenting increasing challenges along the way. In this three level baseball training set, young kids can practice first hitting the ball off of a tee to build fundamental coordination skills. Then on the "rookie" level, the ball pops up from ground level as kids practice smacking the ball out of the air. Finally, the "pro" level is a pitching machine, lobbing the ball without a prohibitive amount of velocity, to the batter standing up to ten feet away. Four D batteries are required but not included. --Charlie WilliamsTop to learn more

loving this watch
I wanted a watch to swim laps in the pool and be able to hit a button to count them because I cant keep up with 50 laps so I called Timex. They said just get an Ironman 200m version because it was made with extra seals around the buttons so you could use them underwater and not get water in the watch. The standard Ironman watch does not have the seals and is water resistant as long as you dont hit the buttons under water. So far, it works perfectly under water and on land. Ok, so it is big, get over it. It looks like and is a sports watch. It also looks like it cost ALOT more than it does. I am using some of the features that I didnt think that I would. I use the lap counter when I lift weights to make sure I wait exactly 1 minute between sets. I use the 3 alarms in the morning as a 1. time to get up, 2. need to get up, and 3. get up now or you are going to be late for your run or bike ride alarm system. It reminded me of my wifes birthday (I already knew but at least it... Top to learn more
Sea, Air, Land and on the Golf Course.
Being a 200 meter watch, its utility is in the ability to use the stopwatch underwater. The styling of a sports watch is standard - Black and brushed stainless steel. The high visibility orange buttons allows one to see it better underwater. The strap has many notches so that the size is universal.Features include 3 alarm settings, a timer, Event reminder, stopwatch, 3 time zones, and a Golf score.Easy enough to use, the LED is clear. The Indiglo is different in convention from the 1st generation. Only the numbers will illuminate which do take getting used to.Buttons are large and easy to push. The anti-shock feature lets you know it can take punishment over conventional watches. Less bulky in styling than its Casio equivalent. The golf score allows up to a maximum of 15 strokes per hole - which I hope will not be necessary for any golfer (but a friend got close at 14 strokes). Given most electronic scorers max out at 100 this... Top to learn more

Rock your body during extreme workouts with the extra-large Timex T5F821 Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport digital watch, which features a black resin body and stainless steel top ring and a top pusher for easy access to lap and split times. It's also shock resistant to ISO standards--enabling it to withstand breakage under adverse conditions. It has a number of customizable sport timing features that can be turned on and off, including 100-hour chronograph with lap or split option, 30-lap memory recall, and 24-hour countdown timer with countdown/stop and countdown/repeat functions, three alarms with 5-minute backup, and golf score keeper. Other features include a 5-year battery life, water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), and a dark gray polyurethane strap.
It incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. Top to learn more
Timex watch
I have used Casio G-Shock watches for a few years but decided to go with this Timex. Good looking watch with large easy to read face. Indiglo 'Flix' is a nice feature and it is easier to read than a G-Shock. But, watch is showing wear after a short time. The resin band scuffs easily and tilts the watch away from easy view. Wish Timex had alternate time/world time but the 3 alarm times are nice. Some lettering on the band came off on the first day of wear, not a show stopper but irritating. Watch looks good but I think it will be back to the G-Shock in the future. Top to learn more

If you do decide to take junior golf instruction the Golf Professional should concentrate mainly on short game, putting, chipping etc. Again, whatever the reasons, the important thing is to let the kids have fun, enjoy themselves and let them decide for themselves whether they want to play the game of golf or not. " is that no matter what age your junior golfer is to make sure golf is something the junior golfer wants to do and to keep it fun for them. Typically, there are four reasons that parents want junior golf instruction for their young child (under eleven):. With many differing opinions are out there about when to begin junior golf instruction, you must remember that opinions are like belly buttons and everyone has one. As soon as you make it a chore by hovering over them with golf instructions, they will not want to play the game anymore. Regardless of how brilliant parents think their child is, young children (under eleven) do not have the attention spans for kids golf lessons. First, you need to ask yourself some questions about what your motivation might be for getting junior golf instruction.
