Cute & Fun
This game is very cute. It takes no time at all to set up and learn the rules. The game is very durable and even the box is well constructed. We played with a three year old and two five year olds. All three of them caught onto the rules quickly and it didn't take long to complete a game. They giggled like crazy every time they were able to move their frogs. It's also a game that isn't mind-numbingly boring for an adult to play. I purchased a set for my daughter and then got another set for my niece and nephew. Good little game
I bought this today for my niece's birthday (tomorrow). We opened it up on the SI Ferry and played a quick game between me (an adult), her (five years tomorrow!), and her sister (two years, seven months).It took up only one seat on the Ferry (though that was by us being very economical in our space), so it can be played even under crowded conditions.Both children grasped the concept of the game easily, and were able to keep close pace during the game - nobody felt very left behind for the entire game. Even if you have a bad memory and can't remember which eyes "see" the baby frogs, you still have a 50% chance of a lucky guess, which really levels the playing field for everybody. In order to level out the lucky guesses some we instituted a rule that you can't move more than three spaces per turn, even if you keep guessing right.The game only took about ten minutes - good for a quick game, but not for when you want the kids to stay quiet while you... Finally, a black one.
I bought the gold colored fisheye lens a while back, and it works great...attaches right on to the stock 58mm thread of the kit lens on an xti and several other popular canon cameras. The quality is surprisingly good, and I think if I was using a better lens than the underwhelming 18-55 kit lens, I would get better results.The fisheye is extreme. At 18mm, it is almost a complete circle in the viewfinder. However, at 50mm or higher, there is almost no fisheye distortion and the lens is effectively turns any lens into a wide angle lens, dividing the focal point by a factor of .38 (i believe); it looks like about half if you are eyeballing it.The difference between this .38x lens and the older .42x is very minimal. I did several tests and I honestly cannot tell the difference with the naked eye. Maybe you can. The best part of this lens is that it is black. The gold color looked very cheap to me, especially on a black camera with a black kit lens. If you want to...

Decent lens for the price, product description is wrong
I got this lens thinking that it would work to screw onto the front of my 18-135mm Canon kit lens which is 67mm lens. I purchased this under the assumption that it would work with that lens. When I received it, the lens only had adapters to go from 58mm - 62mm and 52mm - 58mm, it does not include a 67mm adapter like stated in the product description. Sadly, I must either hold this up in front of the lens with my hand when I want to use it, or use a different lens that has the right size to fit.Other than that, the quality seems to be decent for the price, I didn't expect much as this price point, but if you just want a wide-angle shot of the inside of a hall, or church, or other structures like I used it for, it seems to do the job. Definitely not going to come close to a dedicated $400 fisheye lens, but then again, the price is right if you only need to use fisheye very rarely.

Highly Creative and Playable! An instant family favorite!
I'm just ordering our third set of these for my daughter (8), my sons (ages 6,4,2) and my husband(an engineer). They play with them nearly constantly and the range of creations possible is nearly infinite. We are a family that enjoys construction/building toys and have dozens of different sets.. I'd say Superstructs has reigned as #1 since we got them last year.They are less breakable than Tinker Toys (no splinters!), and hold up really well to everything but being chewed by our boxer dog, so a very sturdy and well made toy.Great for getting children to think outside the box and a very fine multi use toy. We've seen airplanes, cars, trucks, buildings, dolls, robots, aliens, strollers, pretend hats.. you name it. The mark of a truly great toy is that it can be played with in many ways. If in doubt, buy the biggest set
Our 3 year old has had Wedgits and Magneatos and loves those. We debated about which Superstructs set to purchase and went with the largest one which was a wise move. Superstructs were a huge hit. They are holding up well despite rough, daily use. The only improvement I would like to see is in the consruction of the container. After three months it is starting to fall apart. I would have gladly spent a bit more to get a better storage container. Other than that, they are a great toy that fosters hours of imaginative play for the entire family. Durable through lots of kids
Some folks have had problems with durability, I have seen none. My wife does day care, and these sets have been tested by quite a few kids. The Sony A100 and A700 require the shutter lock to be disabled and will work in automatic mode. The other Sony cameras do not have a disable shutter lock feature and must be used in the Manual Focus Mode. In all the Minolta and Sony cameras that will work in auto exposure mode, the anti-shake feature improves lighting conditions by 1-2 stops.
The NEW Stereo LIC showcased here, is for Minolta and Sony Digital SLRs: Minolta 5D, 7D and Sony Alpha DSLR-A100, A200, A230, A300, A330, A350, A500, A550, A850, and A900, and the lists keep growing. THe Minolta Maxxum 5D and 7D require the shutter lock to be disabled and the Minolta SLRs will work in automatic metering mode. When set to "P", the exposure compensation needs to be set to -1.5 stops, while set "to "A", no compensation is necessary.

A superb, very portable camera
This is my third digital camera; I bought this because I wanted an ultra-portable, 3-megapixel camera. So far it's proving to be what I want -- high quality snapshots in a very small package.Likes:- It's truly small; very easy to carry in pocket, coat, briefcase or purse.- Durable steel case- Very easy to use- Very good image quality.- I am very happy with battery life. I do not agree w/folks challenging battery life on this -- I've used it liberally for a whole day of wandering around on vacation, taking photos, looking at images...more than 60 photos in a day. I have bought extra batteries for my other cameras but really haven't felt the need for this. (For me, having a big memory card and extra batteries makes a digital camera much more convenient for heavy picture taking dealing with a film camera and extra film).Dislikes:- Lots of red eye in indoor flash situations- Some difficulty w/autofocus in low-light situations-... S230's nine-point autofocus lets you sharpen the image on your subject, no matter where it is in the frame.

Incredible Quality, Several Small Problems
Wow. I got my s230 about five weeks ago, and have taken over 1500 photos already. I am thrilled with the quality of the camera. It is heavy, built with a very sturdy case, the buttons are quality, the menus (software) are incredibly concise and easy to use/understand. Of course, what most people are concerned with is the picture quality--for this type of camera, it is outstanding. Very few of my photos have turned out "flat" and looking like cheap digital pics. Most of them are vibrant and full of depth and detail.Here are the only problems I've encountered so far:1) The worst problem is the delay from the time you push the button to the time the photo takes. It is NEVER immediate, and often takes half a second or more. This is fine for a posed shot, but good luck taking action shots or candid moments. You have to learn the art of predicting where people and objects will be in a half second. Do not buy this camera if you intend to take photos of people in action, i.e. playing... Top to learn more

WHY I PURCHASED THE POWERSHOT 230:I was never really a fan of Canon cameras, especially Canon digital cameras. It wasn't until recently that a few of my friends were sending me pictures via email that were taken with a Canon Powershot camera. I was pretty impressed with the results and decided to check out the newest Powershot; the S230. This camera packed a lot of features, but kept the bulk to a minimum. Producing images at 3.2 megapixels, the S230 was definitely appealing.
