I like to do paper crafts and have tried several different paper cutters over the years. This is the best cutter I have ever used.I was concerned the laser feature would just be a gimmick, but it's not--it is dead-on accurate and makes lining up cuts completely fool-proof. The laser system turns off automatically to save batteries, and they thoughtfully included a set of AAA batteries in the box.The main surface has a subtle non-stick feel to it which helps make lining up the paper easy and precise. The surface has a useful grid with markings for common paper sizes. There's a full ruler at the top of the unit which is also handy. The arm mechanism feels smooth and cuts are perfectly straight.Another reviewer complained that this unit is made from plastic but I like that it is lightweight; it makes it easier to carry around, and it still feels very sturdy. Good value for the money
I Bought this trimmer to cut holiday cards and to make my own business cards and it works very well for these projects. I wasn't sure if I would use the laser, but have found it to be a very useful feature for making multiple cuts on one piece of paper, such as business cards. The laser has an adjustment feature but I found it to be dead on right out of the box.My only concern would be that this trimmer is made entirely out of plastic. It is very light weight and probably would not stand up to hard use, such as in a busy office. But for what I use it for it is excellent.

Excellent Little Switch - Does What it's Designed For!
This switch does exactly what it's designed for, sharing an Ethernet connnection. Don't expect to be able to configure VLANs, multilayer switching, VLAN trunks, load balancing, etc. This does not have any routing, NAT, or firewall capabilities. You would use this switch when you already have a router between your internal network and the Internet, and you need additional Ethernet ports. This gives you a full duplex Ethernet connection at wired speed, and it delivers! Worth the money!
Thinking of setting up a network? Wish yours would run faster? If so, this is the product for you. Installation is simple. If you can plug a network card into your pci slot you can have your network up and running in minutes. (If you dont know how to plug in a network card, it will take about 5 extra minutes) Anyway, Don't buy a hub. A switch is full duplex meaning it can send and recieve data at the same time. Also with a hub, all ports share the bandwith. ie a 5 port 100m hub w/ all five ports being used = 20m per port. while a switch runs 100m per port, reguardless of how many ports are being used.. And in full duplex mode 200m per port. Also if your looking for computer y on a hub, it must check each port until computer y is found. This switch will know that computer y is on port 4, so you will go right to it, and save time. all n all a great product, as are all linksys products...

Best bang for the buck
First off, in case anyone out there doesn't know, there are a few advantages to purchasing a switch rather than a hub. The main advantage, for most users anyway, is that a switch provides optimal bandwidth to all ports, whereas a hub splits available bandwidth between all active users. This means that if you are sharing a cable modem for example with others in a house/office building, connection speed will not be reduced when multiple users connected to the switch are online. Now, as for this little baby, as soon as I saw the price I grabbed it instantly. The Linksys name had been mentioned to me favorably before, and the going price was within a few dollars of most 5-port hubs. I have been using it for 5 months now to share the cable modem in my apartment, and I can honestly say I have never had a single difficulty. Great charger beyond imagination
I have few camera bateries, and few cameras, everytime I travel I have to carry all these chargers, but now and thanks to rapid universal battery charger, it resolved all my worries, and guess what? you dont even need a power plug and converter and all that weight, you can charge it directly from your computer....I love it, the price is great too.

Not bad for the money
Be warned from the start the scope doesn't come with the proper instructions and though the company will provide different instructions they too are lacking. If you understand MOA (minute of angle) and Mil Dot (milliradian) then even though the reticle is 4 dot not 5 it can be calibrated to work. 12X came close as a starting point for me as a power setting. Finding distance with this type of scope requires understanding the above, a known target dimension or a nearby reference point's size and some math (you can use a charts or a mil slide-rule if math isn't your thing). The reticle focus is found by taking off the rear popup lens cover. Don't try to focus it as the included instructions suggest or you will ruin the scope. The company needs to hire a writer with scope experience to re write both sets of their useless instructions. Even the best scopes are worthless if you don't know how to use them.The optics are not what you would find in a Leupold but then you are spending...

Good Scope for the money.
This is the second scope of this type that I have bought from Combat Optical. The first one was bought on 9-9-08 and was mounted on a Springfield M1A (the combo package). I shoot 100yds. with no problem. The scope is a good buy for the price. The second scope purchased on 4-28-09 was mounted on an AR-10. I shoot 100yds with no problem. I repeat it is a good scope for the price. I am pleased.

Some useful things to know
Given that the amount of press that this device has received, what is there to say about it that hasn't been said a thousand times already? Well, here are some things that are worth knowing but that you might not already know:(1) When you untangle the headphones (and you will spend a lot of time untangling the headphones), untangle from the jack end first (pull that end through the knots). The buds act like little hooks on the cable and don't pull through well. What's more, there are two of them and it is easy to confuse the cables of one with the other. It will save you time and aggravation to untangle the jack first. Try it and see for yourself.(2) To put the little foam cushions on the earbuds, put the cushion against the bud with the hole facing you and roll it back onto the bud on so that it turns inside out as you put it on. You will want to use the cushions - the earbuds aren't very comfortable even with the cushions and can be downright painful without...

Some practical advice
The iPod is awesome. That's a fact. So let me dwell on some practical advice here:1. This is the 40gb iPod to buy. Do NOT buy the older version (manufacturer cat no. M9245LL/A), it looks the same, costs the same, but has only 8 hours play time instead of 12. Even if you have to wait a little, get THIS one. BE SURE TO LOOK AT THE CAT NO.2. Most likely you'll need a carrying case. Budget that in. The Apple one is nice but is around $50.3. If you import a lot of CDs, your desktop or laptop might not have enough space on the hard drive. We're talking 40gb here! A good solution is to buy an additional hard drive. This can also serve as a backup (it's very depressing to import CD after CD and then have your hard drive crash...).4. A very cost effective way to get an extra hard drive is to shop at your local computer store (e.g. CompUSA), look for the ATA drive that's on sale this week, and then, if you have a laptop, also get the "enclosure" that makes it...

A Music Lover's Essential Hardware
I've owned a 20GB iPod for 6 months and now that it's full, I'm replacing it with this 40GB version, now, before it's no longer available. This Amazon price is a real bargain. This model was just discontinued and replaced with the more expensive iPod Photo that comes in only 2 sizes: 30GB and 60GB. I don't care about displaying photos, so this 40GB is what I need.Although it has its (minor) faults, I love the iPod and I use it every single day -- when running on my treadmill, working around the house, doing yard work, and reading in bed. I have ripped (converted) over 400 of my CDs and put all that music on my iPod. I've never had it freeze up on me, but once I had to reformat it after an error occured when copying songs to it. Nice sturdy entertainment center
I normally like fully enclosed type TV stands but in this case I wanted to put it in a corner and save space so I bought this one. It took me about 2 hours to put it together and mount the TV. It all went together fairly easily but some of the pictorials could have been better. There is almost no verbiage in the directions, just all pictorials. There is at least one pictorial that should have been separated into two for clarity. The pictorials for mounting the brackets to the TV are lacking detail as well. Another con is that there is no wire management hole on the very bottom wood shelf. There was a small chip in the black laminate on a visible part of the inside frame on mine when I received it but I touched it up with a black felt pen and it looks fine.Now that I have it all set up, it looks great. There were no missing parts. I still really don't like how the back is exposed so that I can see my white wall to the left and right of the center wire management board. I...

If you e-filed your taxes using a service like TurboTax or other online software, usually amending your return is as easy as going back to the website, and looking for the option to “amend my return”. Here are 8 facts that the IRS gives about amended returns that can help you decide whether you need to file an amended return or not. Don’t forget that any changes you make to your federal return may affect your state income tax returns as well. Generally you don’t need to amend your return to fix a math error or missing forms, the IRS will fix the errors automatically or send a request for the missing forms. Today is tax day, and millions of people are scrambling, trying to get their paperwork in order so that they can get their tax returns completed, filed and sent off before the deadline expires. In some cases an amended return may not be needed, like if you’ve made a math error, or not included forms like a W2 when you filed.
