Got an Xbox 360 that displays "open tray"...this is one solution.
Ok, so not everyone understands that this cd/dvd drive lens cleaner will not fix a broken or worn cd/dvd laser lens, it will however clean a properly working laser lens that is dirty. Before you purchase any lens cleaner, consider the age of the unit (cd/dvd drive), conditions the unit is subject to, and other possible causes for skipping or non-reading units. If you did not know, lasers lose their power after some time and become weak, lubrication of the motor that spins the cd/dvd can also become depleted, and the lubrication on the laser guides can become depleted. All of these factors play into your units performance. In my case, our Xbox 360 began to give a failure message "open tray" which means that the drive was not reading the disc. Since the game console was only 3 years old and the unit is subject to our pellet stove (which expels a small amount microscopic dust) I figured it had to be a dusty lens. So, we purchased the Skipdr disc cleaner and used it 2 times to make sure...

My MacBook Pro's DVD drive was non-functional. It would keep spitting DVDs out no matter how clean they were. I tried blowing out the drive with compressed air, but that didn't help much since you can't really get in there without taking the drive out of the computer. I tried SkipDr as a last resort...and it worked! Thank god! A new DVD drive costs a small fortune for a MacBook Pro, so I'm glad I tried this first.

it actually worked
I bought this before replacing my dvd player just in case. You put it in and run it -- which doesn't take long at all -- in fact much shorter than I thought it should run and I began think it was defective. I thought oh well, it was $10 and worth a shot before replaced the unit. However, we tried it out by putting in a few DVDs that had "frozen" in spots and sure enough -- they worked perfectly. I was skeptical. I was surprised. In the end, I am satisfied.

Superb Calculator!
I used to own a TI-36 made by Texas Instruments. That was a nice calculator, but then I decided to upgrade to this calculator.There are many differences that set this calculator apart from the TI-36. First of all, I love the 2 line display that displays the equation or whatever you just typed in on the top line and the answer on the bottom. Makes a perfect alternative to a graphing calculator that is very similar by displaying whatever you originally typed in. The TI-36 did not offer this. THis is a big plus.Also, whenever you need to indicate a negative value, you can either use the negative button or the minus button before the value... for example, if you wanted to enter -5, you just have to key in - 5. With a TI calculator, you have to key in the five first, and then the negative sign. The TI way used to cause me to make some errors, but the Casio way is very logical! I just got my fx300w and was trying to replicate the bug ALENCIOUS reported. I found actually he/she misunderstood the functions. By RCL you only see what's stored in those alpha memory spots. If you wanna use them to calculate, you do not need to recall and cal( this will actually become what in ANS calculate with the last alpha u enter. The correct way to do calculation is just press Alpha and the spot u want to cal. In ALENCIOUS's example, it would be 'Alpha A + Alpha B', and that's absolutely correct.Overall, I think this calculator is [inexpensive], convinient and powerful. I like it more than my TI-82 and also more than the new casio MS series(fx-300ms) :). Enjoy!

I had the oldest sirius tuner in the world i believe from when it first came out. I upgraded my deck to the Pioneer about a year and a half ago and was tossing the idea back and forth about whether or not to spend the money on this kit. One day I figured what the hell. It really cleaned up the inside of my truck, and works 100% more efficiently over the tuner I previously had.ONLY downside is that Sirius charges you $16 to change receivers on your account.

It works, but ...
Okay, so maybe 3 stars is a bit low since the problem is really that I didn't do my homework prior to this purchase ... Let me explain.I purchased an AVIC-z120bt unit and this to go along with it ... Well, this unit isn't compatible with the Pioneer unit to display the "Station Artwork" like I want it too. (XM is, but Sirius is not) Again, I should have done my homework on this, but it's frustrating that it says "For Pioneer units" when really it should say "Not compatible with Units xxx, xxx, etc for Station Art"O well, it works --- I just wish I would have known more before I installed this. So, if you are reading this -- don't make the mistake I did --- Find out if you specific unit will do EVERYTHING you want it too BEFORE you by this little gem.

Good but not everything I expected (NO Instant Replay)
I bought a Pioneer head unit that supports Sirius so I bought this kit to get me going. Unfortunately I didn't understand everything completely before making this purchase. It was easy to install and it works just fine but it wasn't until after the fact that I found out that Instant Replay is not supported with this unit. To be fair, I didn't even know my head unit supported that so it's obviously not that pressing an issue. It was just disappointing going through all the setup and then finding out that this feature is not supported.So I put my hands up and accept my part of the blame but I think that it would be nice / helpful if the product description mentioned that Instant Replay is NOT supported.

One of the Neatest Things I've Ever Bought
I use this device with awesome results in my vehicle. I use a cassette adapter to play it through my car stereo, rather than the built in FM modulator. I get much better results using the cassette adapter. I do not have the antenna mounted on the exterior of my vehicle. Rather, I simply lay it on a non-skid pad on my dashboard. This device hasmany improvements over the Roady2, most notably the portability (you can use it like a Walkman with headphones purchased separately). The ability to record songs is great, as is the fact that the device has a slot for up to a 2 GB microdisk. (It will not accept a microdisk larger than 2GB). Basically, you can use this device as an MP3 player and as a satellite radio. I did do the firmware update on the product. This was no big deal to do the download online. It does freeze on a rare occasion. There is a reset option that fixes this--you simply press two keys simultaneously as directed in the manual. I got this product and a...

Discovered "Fix" For Lock-up Issue
For those of you wondering if you should purchase this XM Radio system and look to the reviews to decide, I will definitely recommend the SKYFI 3 to you. MP3 and live XM recording are both very easy to use. Most of the bad reviews mention that the radio locks up while in use. I work ten hour shifts driving circles around a small town, so I have put probably 3 to 4 hundred hours of use into my SKIFI 3 that I purchased 2 months ago. I did have the radio lock up on me twice in the first week of using the radio. I found out that it only locks up when you leave the radio on and have activated the auto shut-off timer. I disabled the auto shut-off the first week and the SKIFI 3 has not locked up since. I just last week I ordered 2 more for other members of my family.

Great Unit, If yours isn't, Do This...
Ok, I feel for people with a bad unit. Mine was working for two hours then locked up. I had another one arrive a few days later from another seller, it worked great! Difference was: THE FIRMWARE! I reset the first locked up unit by pressing the Volume+ button on the side while pushing the Mode (on/off) button on the front. The firmware version is shown at the bottom of the screen at startup, my first unit was version 1.03! Version 1.19 is the latest! (16 revisions of the firmware have obviously solved numerous problems) So I went to XM's firmware update page (http://fwupdt.xmradio.com/), hooked up the supplied USB cable from my computer to my SkyFi unit, clicked on the "XM Firmware Client (R2.26} (in red) at the bottom of that page and followed the simple instructions and let it do its update magic. Presto...my first unit works great now, no lockups, just smooth operations in all features. It's a great unit, just some of these have been sitting around on a shelf somewhere for...

Not an easy user guide... good sound otherwise.
This unit is a bit clunky. A lot of wires for the function. So here is my two cents of a review.First, the round button is somewhat easy to use if you like doing things backwards. The button advances options by being rotated like a dial. This is ok when you get the hang of the display. The main display is oriented like a semi-circle. The knob just doesn't flow right like you think it would to select options. Using the remote isn't easier either. Since the display on the actual screen is in a semi circle the menu either toggles clockwise or counter clockwise and opposite of your rotation of the dial.Second, the user guide DOES NOT tell you that in order to decrease the noise static on the radio, you have to use BOTH the secure connect and the antenna. You do not need to purchase the secure connect as it comes in the box. When you look at the guide it says consult the secure connect manual... and there isn't a secure connect manual in the box nor is...

Works great, but a bit overly complex for automobile use
This receiver was a snap to install in my Honda Civic. I chose it over the option of a dealer-installed unit (heheh, he said 'unit') because (1) Honda dealers apparently install the XM antenna inside the windshield, which is far from optimal and (2) I don't care to pay $700 for radio & installation.It works great, though I don't utilize any of the advanced features: I'm more of a set the favorites and use them type of person. Viewing anything more than just the current station while paying adequate attention to traffic seems kind of difficult.
