Perfect battery for the Kodak 712Zis. Recharges quickly on the docking station and holds a charge. During a birthday party I took 3 long videos, over 50 pictures, reviewed all in the camera and through the TV and still had battery power.

A Must Have
I own a Kodak Z812IS and after going thru a couple of "other brand" rechargeables with no life and no power, I bought the more expensive Kodak battery and I couldn't be happier. It recharges quickly, and has twice the life of the others. Don't waste your money on the cheaper knock-offs. Shipping from the supplier was quicker than expected - great job!

Great Product
Great product, just as expected. This battery can take quite a bit of photos on a single charge. I got 150+ pictures (@ 7.1 megapixels) with two three minutes video clips before the battery needed a charge. I was pretty impressed with that number.

Great little charger
This is a handy little devil. I comes with an auto cigarette lighter adapter and also has fold out prongs to plug it into a wall socket or extension cord. It has an LED that lets you know that it is getting power, and turns from red to green when it is done charging the battery. The unit is compact and handy, the Kodak battery fits easily but snugly into it. It is well made and rugged for being so compact and light weight. I'm glad I bought it.

Finally found the proper battery-pack charger for my camera!
I didn't think digital camera battery-pack chargers were that difficult to find. I ordered one previously, and then purchased one at a local store. Neither of them was for the proper-sized battery pack. So had to return them. I even checked the Kodak site and couldn't find what I needed. The charger just received is perfect for my Kodak Z712 camera and the price is very reasonable. I'm so happy to have finally found the proper charger.

Excellent Communication
The part I received was not what I ordered. Less expensive Camera Battery
So far, ofter one month, the Kodak KLIC-8000 Equivalent Li-ion Battery appears to work as well at the Kodak label battery. It seems to have the power necessary to provide all the camera functions and maintained a charge for a reasonable time. I do not know how many recharges it will take or how long it will hold a charge without being used. Time will tell.However, at less than half the cost of the manufacturers product, it is certainly worth taking a chance.

Long charge life - very handy
I'm using this on my Easyshare Z712 IS and I'm very happy with it, I have taken about 800 pictures & videos with just one 6-hour charge and still have power to keep shooting!!!! For this price...I think I'm stolen from them :-)

Good alternative
This battery does a good job of lasting a long time in the camera. I do not know how many times it can be recharged, but its early performance is stellar. It is much less expensive than the "name brand" battery.

i was VERY suprised that for only around $6 i bought a new charger AND another replacement battery! Then...when i got the package, there were TWO batteries in there! a little bonus! I HAD to have the charger..the original one got lost...very, very happy!!! :)

I love the Kidak Z712 IS and have been thinking about upgrading...PLEASE NOTE !!!Bigger is not always better...1. a 32 gig SD card ran the battery down in 10 minutes2. a 16 gig SD card ran the battery down in 2 hours3. a 8 gig SD card lasted 4 hours...SO !!! Even though you may have a bad battery, alsotry lower size memory SD cards...Thank you
