Product works well enough but has its problems.
I purchased this so I could use my NIKON lenses on my NEX-3, it works very well however the product comes with NO documentation whatsoever and even the manufacturer's website has no real instruction. If the seller reads this PLEASE package some instructions with your product. In order for the camera to recognize your nikon/canon lens you need to set, under the MENU "release without lens Enable" Once you set that to enabled then you can use the camera with your other lenses.Another thing the 2 small screws that are used to attach the base where one would screw into a tripod plate, could be a little longer than they are, they have come off my adapter and im having a pretty hard time adding them in, as it is now they have extremely small clearance to catch the threads of the holes. Aside from that, product works fine.

it lets you use all your old glass
I have an old xg-1 35mm slr with a 50mm f1.4 lens and a 70-200mm f4.5 lens. I just purchased a nikon d90 with the kit lens 18-105 f 5.6. The kit lens is fine, but I really wanted to take pictures with a very shallow depth of field. I thought I would have to purchase a new f1.4 lens, but I saw this adapter for $40. It came in four days and works exactly how I wanted it to. Granted I still have to manually focus my lens, but it's great to have until I decide to buy a 50mm f1.8 with AF. I'm going to use it soon for my sister's graduation. Im going to set my camera up with my 200mm lens and the adapter, so I can get a sharp high resolution image of her walking up for her diploma.

Shipping took over 2 weeks, but the product works.
This lens adapter has allowed me to mount my old Minolta MC 50mm f/1.4 lens and my Vivitar MC 70-210mm f/4.5 lens. I am really pleased with the build quality and the fact that it just works!In case anyone is wondering, this adapter works with both MC and MD lenses, even though it only says MD.I bought this item and it shipped 4 business days after I paid. I didn't receive it for 14 days after that! I am very disappointed with the shipping, but at least it's here now.

Exceeded all expectations
I NEVER offer a review of a product...until now. At 70 dollars I didn't expect all that much. I work as a professional photographer and have a wide array of camera bodies and lenses at my fingertips. This set of three lenses is just plain fun to stick on my iPhone and experiment with. Putting your iPhone on a tripod will provide for some really great images. Very happy with this product.

Great gift for photographer w/ iPhone
I bought this as a birthday gift for my mother because she is big into photography. She has a pro-sumer grade dslr, but often doesn't carry it due to size. With the 8MP camera on the iPhone 4S, that is quickly becoming her "go to". I gave her the Olloclip and figured if it worked as well as advertised I'd consider purchasing two more as Christmas gifts. She loves it and I'm ordering those two more.*I order several hundred things from Amazon each year, but almost never leave reviews. This product deserves me taking the time to write one. It is well worth the price.

OK, 5 stars seems kinda crazy for this strange gizmo...but, it actually works and it was only $26.1.It fits my iPhone 4 well.2.It actually does magnify the image in the camera lens by quite a lot (I haven't actually checked the exact magnification number, but 8X seems about right.)3.On the tripod, it produces a decently sharp picture, without dramatic distortion.4.The tripod "works" in that it hold the iPhone steady, which is mandatory with this magnification.5.It is really inexpensive.6.It actually does focus.Always remember that price. For that you should not expect a top quality product.1.The tripod legs do not extend. In fact when I tried to pull the feet out like on my $20 Hakuba, the leg just detached completely.2.The lens is NOT a zoom lens as the title says.
