Great Matress Pad
I searched a long time for a waterproof matress pad that was safe, didn't emit any toxins and didn't make rustling noises. Let me tell you, this is it. It's great, it provides great protection for our new matress, it's soft and safe. I was a little worried that that it doesn't go down the sides of the matress and only secures with the elastic straps, but it fits great and stays in place. I loved the first one so much I purchased a 2nd. It is expensive and it takes a few runs in the dryer to dry fully, but it seems to be of great quality and I expect it will last a long time.

Good safe product
Good product that is not made in China. It's liquid proof for kids but the material breathes and isn't noisy. Cheap plastic liners are hot, noisy (crinkly trash bag sound) and say "I can't breef!" As for Amazon's ratings.Durability - Looks to be very well made.Fun - Not really a "fun" item as much as FUNctional...oh, I see what they did there.Educational - I learned that sometimes you do get what you pay for and it feels good to have an alternative to a potentially hazardous Chinese made product.

Great Product!
Exactly what I was looking for for my kids. Nice cotton top and bootom layer. No crinkily plastic noise or feel. Does not cause you to become hot or sweaty like most waterproof covers. It does cost more but it is worth it! Amazon has the most reliable shopping. Anything I am looking to buy I check here first.

Soft and good quality
I love this organic quilted pad. It's so soft and fits really well on my organic cotton mattress. My daughter likes to sleep on my bed so this pad makes her crib feel softer (closer to what my bed feels). I like that it has just the right amount of padding, not too thick that I have to worry when my daughter rolls over and sleeps on her tummy.

LOVE IT!!
Great quality at reasonable price! Its more expensive but when I received the item I completely understand why. Love it so much I bought 2 more. Great Quality, Great Price
I purchased 2 queen Luna mattress protectors and pillow protectors 6 months ago and wanted to post a review based on my experience. Both my daughter and I have allergies to dust mites and were told by my neighbor that Luna mattress protectors may help. One of the mattresses was 17" thick so we weren't sure how well it would fit, but it easily covered the mattress nicely. The material is very high quality and washes easily. After about a week we could actually tell a difference in our allergies from before and after we applied the mattress and pillow protectors. One added bonus of the product was when our dog had an accident on the mattress. We were amazed to discover that nothing got through the cover, which was a great relief! This mattress protector has exceeded all of my expectations and I would recommend this to anyone!

Is Actually Waterproof. Covers top of mattress only
After a bad incident with my cat I was wary of cheap protectors that aren't waterproof.When I got these I tested them under a faucet and they are actually waterproof. The terry cloth on top is soft and pleasant, the protector doesn't crackle and otherwise feels pretty high quality.The only problem is that it only protects the top of the mattress. On the bright side, it slips on and off like a fitted sheet.

Oh, I so wanted to love this mattress cover
I've been on the hunt for a breathable waterproof mattress cover since buying a mattress last year that required us to mortgage our firstborn. Any kind of fluid whatsoever voids the 20-year warranty. After trying several covers, I'm starting to wonder if "breathable" and "waterproof" are mutually exclusive.I was initially pleased by the cover. It has high-quality stretchy sides that allowed it to easily cover our extra-deep queen-size mattress. It handled the washer and dryer just fine, which boded well for its durability.But I've finally come to admit that I just can't sleep with it anymore, as I wake up continually through the night sweating like I've been running a marathon. I don't typically have problems like that, but both my husband and I wake drenched. Best and Most Comfortable WATERPROOF Pad I've found ...
I absolutely LOVE the Handy's Plus Pad. I purchased 5 of the full-size pads for my son over a year and a half ago and I think they are GREAT. My 4-year old has slept in a full-size bed since he turned 2. These pads really work (no leaks!), are comfortable and wash-up well. I only have 2 complaints ... 1. the side-flaps aren't quite long enough to fully tuck under if you have a pillow-top mattress (although you can make it work if one side of the bed is against the wall and you pull the opposite side really tight) AND 2. the top and bottom of the pad tend to "curl up" after several washings. Despite these complaints, I have not been able to find a pad that is even near the quality and comfort of this one. The reason that I own 5 of these is that, if you truly want "full" coverage on the bed for a child that rolls all over while sleeping, you need to use 2 with some slight overlap (so, 2 to use and 2 for back-up). Good for Young Children and Nighttime Potty Training
This pad has performed as expected and the extra length on the sides makes it easier to tuck under the mattress to keep it from moving. However, the photo gives the impression of covering more of the bed than it truly does. Take the measurements seriously - don't rely on the photo. I needed to play with it to see where on the bed it would be the most effective.

Great idea! Great product!
I bought the Handy's Plus Pad because, while our son has been potty trained for nearly a year, he sleeps so soundly that he doesn't wake up all the time to go pee at night, and I've had it with changing the bed sheets everyother night! This pad is a great item, it's soft on the top so my son doesnt mind sleeping on it and it really works keeping the sheets dry. My son sleeps all over the place and it's plenty wide enough to give the coverage we need. And it's never leaked through. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that it's tough to tuck the far side in when you have the bed up against the wall like we do. I'm not sure how they could make this better, but they should work on figuring out a way. ;) I only wish I'd gotten 2!!

This is a decent organic option and a good value for the price, especially for those of us who strive to live green and organically, but do not have exorbitant budgets on which to make it a reality in our homes!As some reviewers state, this pad is not 100% organic through and through and, indeed, there is some questionable marketing going on with this product. great mattress cover
since my daughter spends so many hours in her bed, i wanted a mattress cover that i was confident wouldn't have any off-gassing of chemicals that she would be breathing through the night. this is not a cheap product, but was worth it for the peace of mind. we've only been using it a couple months, but it is high quality and seems very durable. also, it's soft and doesn't make any crinkly noises like some of the vinyl pads.

Does the Job
I searched high and low for a non-plastic, organic mattress pad for my toddler, and this was the best I could find. I do wish they would create a fitted version. This pad goes just over the edges of a normal sized twin mattress. The pad is made of thick material, so this fits awkwardly even under a thick sheet. Nevertheless, it is comfortable to lay on, and doesn't crunch like plastic. It also hasn't shifted around like I feared it might. My daughter has had one accident on it so far. The accident definitely wet the pad, so it's not exactly waterproof, but it did not leak through to the mattress.

This waterproof pad is the "berries"! I would like to own a second one; however,it was a bit costly, so I will manage with just one. I am a frugal person and this item was worth every penny. We take it with us on all of our vacations "just in case".
