Wow! Talk about attractive!
Really strong. I used the thin magnets to glue into a gimmick I was making. At first I couldn't even pull them apart until I used the edge of a desk to push them sideways off the stack. Fun and useful. Top to learn more

Wonderful!
These are the type of mangets that I needed! They arrived a week earlier than estimated and are exactly what I need. I just need to figure out how to make it easier to get them apart. :) Top to learn more

Really Useful!
Rare-earth magnets are one of the greatest inventions I have had the pleasure of using. You cannot appreciate the strength of the magnets until you try them! One of these 3/8" magnets will hold up to 5 lbs of weight! I use them all over my office at work (except near the computer of course!) to hang things. They are so strong I can even use them on corner of my wall (it has a metal core behind the drywall). The reason these magnets are so powerful is due to the electron array in the neodymium, the rare earth they get their name from. To maximize the use of these magnets in wood or a surface other then steel I suggest backing them with a steel washer or slug, this will in turn maximize the magnets strength. There a huge number of uses for these magnets, you can use them on your fridge, around the office, or in the workshop. They can be glued to a surface using most types of glue (epoxy is best). Due to the force of the magnets I would suggest keeping it out of the reach of...

Nice mags
I used these to replace some magnets that I lost from a wurkin-stif magnetic collar stay. Turns out they are great for securing loose papers to our fridge as well.

Product Description
Neodymium-iron-boron is a fancy way to say super strong magnets. A single 1" magnet has more than 10 lbs of pull; two of them face-to-face are virtually inseparable. Smaller ones make phantastic door catches that can pull a twisted cabinet door straight and hold it closed. Use them to hold knockout bars to lathes, chuck keys to drill presses and blade wrenches to table saws. Rare earth magnets have innumerable applications on jigs, fixtures and hardware as well. Handle with care! Separated magnets can snap back and pinch skin. Top to learn more

Small, yet powerfull. Great for holding knives.
I use these magnets to hold up my kitchen knives against the side of the refrigerator. I was considering purchasing a magnet strip to accomplish this task, but these have a much lower profile and I don't need to drill into the wall/cabinet. They are surprisingly strong for their size; they hold up my paring knives with just one magnet each. For my larger chef's and carving knives, however, I need to stagger two or three magnets (or stack them to accommodate handle width) to make the knives stay up. I may just need to order more magnets to fulfill my needs. I recommend these for anyone looking to clean up their kitchen and allow easy access to their knives. Top to learn more
N48 neodymium magnet discs
Neodymium is a rare earth metal that when combined with iron and boron makes very powerful magnets that lose less than 1% of their strength every decade. The alloy oxidizes easily so it is usually coated to prevent corrosion, most frequently with a nickel plating.Neodymium magnets are also brittle and will shatter into sharp fragments if dropped onto a hard surface or even if they are allowed to strike each other unimpeded. So they do not make good toys for small children but they have many industrial uses (such as in headphone drivers) and are LOTS of fun for adults to play with! These N48 disc magnets are 1/2 in. x 1/8 in. with approximately 6 lbs. of pull force. This is a good size and strength to use in multiples to mount heavier items on a metal surface. The force is increased when the magnets are used together and a stack of these is quite difficult to pry apart. The quality is quite good with even nickel plating and no rough edges... Bought as a replacement for lost treadmill key
My Pacemaster treadmill came with a magnet glued to a plastic housing that was attached to a cord and clip. The glue came off and all I was left with was a little round magnet, which I somehow lost. Do you know how much they charge for a replacement? Around $30 - it's ridiculous! The random magnets I had around my house were not strong enough to trip the power switch on my treadmill, so I purchased these. They are *hard* to pull apart - but I just left about 6 of them locked together as my new key. Works like a charm! Top to learn more

ONE lot of 10 Magnets. Size: 1/2 inch diameter x 1/2 inch thick discs. Nickel (Ni) Plated (silver-like shine) Grade: N48 - Extremely powerful magnetic material Pull Force is approximately 6.1 pounds under ideal conditions. These discs are axially magnetized, so the strong North/South poles are in the center of the flat sides. That makes them easier to stack into a cylinder than to connect side by side. The metal coating is durable, but ALL Neodymium magnets can chip or shatter. If used gently, these magnets can serve you for a lifetime.

magnets-
They are small magnets, just like the webpage says. No different from any other neodymium magnets. The magnets are definitely strong for their size, but don't excpect them to hold too much weight. However, if you are looking 1/4" neodymium magnets, these work great. Top to learn more
Great magnets
They hold quite well, stick well to epoxy. I've only broken 1, although I know many more have chipped (I can see shaving stuck to/between a lot of the magnets, but can't see the holes). Overall, very worth the price if you need something really short. If you aren't sure about the size, the whole stick of 100 is about the length of a pencil and has a thickness between a toothpick and a regular pencil. Super useful little devils
They're cheap. They're magnets. They stick to each other like their lives depended on it. What more could you want?I'm using them in a bit of an odd way. I have a whiteboard with a metal back but no "ledge" for holding the markers. I tape one to each of my whiteboard markers so that I can hang the marker on the board. I also taped two to a whiteboard eraser and it sticks too! I'll probably glue them in the future, as they're so cheap they're pretty much disposable.Oh, and I also use them for play when I need mindless passtime. ;-)I recommend this item and seller! Very Very SMALL but Work!
Great price and great item. I was looking for something larger but these hold as good as larger magnets so I am thrilled. I have paid to much for 6 of these before and now I am glad I found these at a great price. Top to learn more
Great little magnets
When I got these, I laughed because they were so small. I thought they would be useless. Well, they're not! I wanted them to hang-up some pictures, kid's artwork and such on my fridge. They are perfect for this use. They are so small that they don't detract from the photos and artwork. I can't believe they can hold so much. Great idea! Top to learn more

Product Description
Tiny Neodymium Super Magnets. 1/8" x 1/16" Discs. Quantity: 50 Pieces. These magnets are much stronger than a conventional ceramic magnet. Great for craft and hobby use. Please handle with caution! Neodymium magnets are very strong magnetically and also very brittle. It is crucial to handle these magnets with extreme care to avoid personal injury and damage to the magnets. Fingers can be severely pinched between attracting magnets. Magnets can chip if allowed to "jump at" an attracting object. Measurements: 1/8" (3.2mm) diameter, 1/16" (1.6mm) thick. CAUTION: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. WARNING: Persons who are pregnant, wearing pacemakers, pacemaker defibrillators, insulin pumps, or electric insulin devices, should not use magnetic products. NOTE: Photo is not to scale, please check the provided measurements to ensure that you purchase the size needed for your projects. Top to learn more

Smooth Operators
Forget those wussy refrigerator magnets that'll barely hold up a sheet of paper. These 1/2" neodymium discs can supervise a 12-month calendar, your hand towel, pot holders, your heaviest kitchen knife, and the family cat. Holding knives is where they go to town. You don't need one of those bulky, unattractive counter-top knife quivers that take up so much space; slap these 1/2" disc magnets on the side of the fridge and stick your knife-blades to them. Those strip magnets made for holding knives work well, but they have to be mounted somewhere; the disc magnets don't, and they can be moved around. I've been using them this way for years, and they're the best. The knives are in easy reach, and the edges never touch anything that can dull them down. You pluck the knife you want, and the magnet stays put.Other uses I rely on: Sticking a pen to the fridge. For sewing, holding scissors, pins, and items that you want handy. Hanging a curtain on a steel door. For home... Top to learn more

Powerful but Fragile
These little magnets all arrived in very good condition. I have no disappointment with either their manufacture or their delivery. They are extraordinarily powerful little magnets, so much so that they're very difficult to pull apart, and they jump together very suddenly and solidly. Therein lies the problem: they're rather fragile, damaging and breaking easily. They are still a good purchase, all in all, just be as careful as possible with them. Top to learn more

Ferroputty and Rare Earth Magnet Interaction Delights Thousands!
